6 Questions to Ask Before Hiring a Flutter Developer

Hire Flutter Developer

Are you thinking about hiring an Flutter developer to build your app? If so, you should consider asking them the following six questions. Doing so will help you find the right person for the job and make sure that you’re not paying more than you should be in order to have your app built properly.

  • What experience do they have?

One of the most important parts of getting any kind of work done is having someone who has experience and can do it well. If you’re looking for a new developer, don’t hire someone who hasn’t been doing their job for long. Instead, find an expert who has plenty of experience in what they do. Do your research, ask them about their previous clients and how they worked with them, and then make sure that everything lines up before hiring them to do your project.

  • How will they help me reach my goals?

If you’re looking for a developer, it’s important to have a clear idea of what you need and what kind of problem they will solve. By asking How can they help me reach my goals? you are making sure that your expectations are aligned and there is no misunderstanding or confusion over what their role will be. You should know that their role is not only limited to coding but might also include various other responsibilities like designing, developing, testing etc. It is better if your potential hire mentions all of these responsibilities in his/her portfolio rather than just boasting about how good he/she is at writing code alone.

  • What if I need more support?

I’ve hired several software development companies and one of my biggest lessons learned is that some companies are better equipped than others. If you need more support, there are some questions you should ask: What kind of resources will you be able to call on if I need help or technical assistance? How many developers will be assigned to my project? Do they have experience with working with startups in similar spaces? Can they provide references from clients they’ve worked with who were just like me?

  • How do they communicate?

One of your most important questions is how you and your new developer will communicate. Does your candidate work best through email, phone calls, or do they prefer an in-person meeting? Is Slack or Skype their preferred mode of communication? The more information you can get on how others have worked with them, the better.

  • What’s their skill level?

If you need help developing an app, it’s important to hire someone who knows what they’re doing. It’s not always easy—or even possible—to judge whether or not a developer is qualified before meeting them, but there are ways of narrowing down your search. First, look for portfolios of past work, then read reviews from past clients, and finally talk with other developers about their recommendations.

  • What previous apps have they worked on?

If you’re looking for an experienced developer, ask if they have any samples of apps they’ve created. Make sure you see how well these apps were received in app stores (are they ranked highly and with positive reviews?). Also, see if you can access private or beta versions of their apps—this will give you some insight into how quickly they work, their design skills, and overall experience level. If it’s too good to be true (and cheap), then it probably is!
